Food Tour
The start of the tour was VERY wet. There were 12 of us (newbies) that did not go anywhere on our first long weekend so we all decided to see a bit of the city and went on an XO Food Tour by Moped. It started at the Ho Chi Minh Opera House

A water tower from down town. A bit worried about all of the black mold on the side of it. Hmm ---- I wonder what it looks like on the inside.Favorites - More pictures from the food tour to come. It was amazing riding around on the mopeds through 5 different districts in Ho Chi Minh.
Great time with new friends. IT was a great way to get out a bit and NOT work all weekend.

ReplyDeleteI think the best thing that I ate was scallops. I did not think that I liked them, but they cooked them with peanuts and a really buttery sauce. They were delicious. Most of what we ate I would never be able to pronounce. One was goat meat - really good. I am glad I had gotten over the goat meat thing in Africa. NBD!!! A dessert was corn and bean custard. That was interesting.
